Yoga
relaxes and, by relaxing, heals. The heartbeat slows,
respiration decreases, blood pressure decreases.
The body seizes this chance to turn on the healing mechanisms.
There
are a wide variety of Hatha Yoga styles with each emphasizing
different body postures and breathing techniques assisting
internal body functions, and increasing circulation. We offer
daily classes in various Hatha Yoga Styles for all levels
of practice.

Yoga Intro
For a healthy body and peaceful mind, few activities give
as much ‘bang for your buck’ as yoga. Combining
all the goodness of several stress management techniques,
such as diaphragmatic breathing, meditation, stretching
and more, yoga provides some of the best stress management
and health benefits you can find in a single class. Through
yoga you'll strengthen and tone muscles, develop greater
range of motion in the joints, ease stress and tension,
calm the mind and open the heart. This class is aimed at
teacher some of the very basics of yoga, breathing and calming
the mind.

Deep
Stretch &Relaxation
When
we are deeply relaxed, the body and mind are refreshed and
revitalized. This brings many benefits that are both immediate
and long lasting. Some major health benefits of regular relaxation
include:

Developing
principles of mindfulness as a way to become centered within
ourselves through yoga asana, relaxation, meditation and deep
yogic sleep (yoga Nidra). Relieve body stiffness through gentle
yoga poses and discover a relaxation posture that works for
you. You don't have to sit cross legged with your knees, hips
and or ankles screaming for release. (Use as many blankets,
bolsters and blocks as needed, we also have chairs available.)

Gentle/Therapeutic
Yoga
Regular yoga practice can help reduce anxiety and aid in weight
loss. Many yoga postures stimulate sluggish glands thereby
regulating the metabolisms. The deep breathing increases oxygen
in the cells leading to more fat cells burning up. A decrease
in stress levels reduces the production of cortisol thereby
reducing the fat that accumulates in our midsection.
We
will explore the use of props in order to make poses more
accessible. This is a terrific class for seniors, those recovering
from injury or illness and all beginners. Slow down, breath
and reduce stress. GREAT

Yoga
A great way to re-energize as you take a break from your hectic
day and enjoy 45 minutes of yoga and relaxation. We invite
you to make the commitment to nurturing yourself and reaping
the rewards of longer, stronger, more flexible muscles, a
toned body and calm mind. Next time your spouse, boss or employees
annoy you, you'll just smile to yourself and say "this

Get ready to take your practice seriously but yourself lightly
as you explore you explore yoga, discovering your strength
and awakening your spirit! Yoga helps cultivate:

This
basic yoga class will sculpt, tone and hone the muscles of
your body and your mind. Emphasis is placed on the cultivation
of core strength, balance, breath control, and flexibility
through focus and concentration. Some slow guided sun salutations.
A great way to prepare for more strenuous Power Flow classes.
BEGINNERS WELCOME!

Flow
You don’t need to be Gumby to do this style of yoga.
You will develop strength and flexibility in increments, and
see dramatic results as you continue to practice regularly.
It can reshape your body and mind! Yes you may even loose
weight.
Power
Yoga increases internal body heat (killing off bacteria),
and creates a heightened state of awareness of the workings
of your body. Focus is on the coordination of the breath with
movement, connecting your body, heart, mind and spirit at
their deepest levels!

Yoga has great benefits for athletes and is the fitness regimen
used by many professional and amature athletes, as well as
actors and actresses, young and old, men and women.

Modifications
will be offered allowing even the beginning student to attend.
These classes move at a significantly faster and more constant
pace. Should be physically fit and have experience moving
in and out of sun salutations.
